Women in Tech Panel at AUT
There is near universal agreement that diversity is essential for a productive, innovative, and prosperous tech sector. So, for Techweek 2017, AUT is focusing on gender diversity and how we can encourage and support women in tech.
This event features women in tech in a panel discussion about their personal journeys. After a short introduction of the panellists and their work, the chair will guide the audience in a question and answer session for the panel to share their experiences, why and how they started their career in tech, how they overcame challenges, and simply what it is like to be a woman in tech. Panellists come from both academia and business, with a variety of backgrounds. The event is jointly organised by AUT Women in Tech, KEDRI and Colab at AUT.
This event aims to bring together people of all ages and stages of their lives. All genders are welcome. We look forward to seeing you there. After the panel there will be an opportunity to connect and collaborate in a networking session.Make sure you also register for another great event right before this one: She# Lightning Talks at AUT.
