Global Autonomous Vehicle Forum, Queenstown NZ
Join global leaders, New Zealand experts and invited guests to learn about the Role of Autonomous Transport Solutions in solving Public Transport’s First and Last Mile Challenge
The Global AV Forum is hosted by ITSNZ in association with Ohmio Automotion
As urban centres evolve and seek to reduce private vehicle traffic, autonomous vehicles are expected to play a key part in creating seamless journey options while improving economics, safety and sustainability.
Autonomous shuttle buses have potential to address driver shortages, providing accessible, safe and low emission transport in urban areas and large property developments.
While full autonomy for private vehicles is a future possibility, automated and autonomous shuttles offer greater benefits and are already being trialled and used around the world to improve integrated transport networks.
The Global AV Forum will be held in conjunction with a meeting of the international Intelligent transport standards panel TC 204. The forum will provide attendees with greater knowledge and understanding of what is needed for the successful implementation of autonomous shuttles in the transport system examing their potential to improve transport outcomes as well as the technology, policy and infrastructure.
The Forum programme features respected leaders and experts from Asia, Australia, Europe and North America as well as New Zealand.
Key Sessions and Topics:
- The Value Proposition and Contribution to Transport Outcomes
- Demonstration of an Autonomous First and Last Mile solution – Ohmio Automotion
