It’s only one month until Techweek2021!
There are over 200 events listed and new events are being added to the programme regularly. There’s so much to choose from and something for everyone; agritech, AI, blockchain, cybersecurity, data-driven farming, digital inclusion, edtech, insurtech, lockdown stories, machine learning, senior tech, staying focussed in an age of distraction, virtual reality, visual access needs and more.
If you don’t have a venue for your Techweek event, check out these spaces (for anywhere between 10-150 people) in Auckland. All are free to hire for Techweek events. Also, standby for the Techweek TV schedule too.
This week, I will be in Hamilton to catch-up with a few members and attend the launch of the Artificial Intelligence Institute at the University of Waikato. Then it’s onto Tauranga to meet more members and join the Agritech Industry Transformation Plan (ITP) roadshow.
Next week, on 6 May, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam, is hosting a special discussion focused on opportunities offered by Hong Kong for New Zealand businesses. If you have any interest in the Hong Kong market, please join the webinar.
Finally, New Zealand’s leading AI firms are sharing their latest news at the Aotearoa AI Summit in Auckland on 12 May. Check out the programme and the impressive speaker line-up here. The summit will also include an update from Minister Clark on the development of New Zealand’s National AI Strategy and workshops to contribute feedback. This is the first opportunity for industry to engage and help steer our national strategy. If you haven’t already secured a seat, don’t miss out on being able to connect in person, share ideas and be inspired.
Ngā mihi
